  • Ilene Levenson, MD


    Dr. Levenson is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with Baptist Primary Care at the BPC-Internal Medical Group location. She also serves on the Baptist Primary Care Board of Directors.


    Dr. Levenson earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and did her internship at UFHealth-Shands in Jacksonville.  She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, where she served as Chief Resident.

    Vice Chair

    Dr. Mayer is a board-certified family physician with Baptist Primary Care.

    Dr. Mayer earned his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, NY and completed his residency at St. Joseph Hospital - Syracuse, NY.

    Mary Leen

    Mary Leen, DNP, ARNP is vice president of clinical operations for Baptist Physician Partners. She leads teams to work closely with physicians and other care providers to achieve BPP’s “triple aim” objectives of improving quality, safety, efficiency and outcomes for patients. 
    Leen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Jacksonville University.

  • Alison Bartfield, MD

    Alison Bartfield, MD

    Dr. Alison  Bartfield is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with Baptist Primary Care and  Medical Director for the Senior Strategy.

    Dr. Bartfield earned her medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her residency at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. She currently practices at Baptist Inpatient Services and is affiliated with Baptist Medical Center Beaches.

  • Patricia Calhoun, MD

    Dr. Calhoun is a board-certified family physician with Baptist Primary Care at the Mandarin North location. She also serves on the BPC Board of Directors and is the Medical Director for Baptist Women’s Health Strategy.


    Dr. Calhoun earned her medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and completed her residency at St. Vincent’s Family Practice Residency in Jacksonville.

  • Thomas Connolly, MD

    Thomas Connolly, MD

    Dr. Connolly is a board certified pediatrician who practices at The Carithers Pediatric Group. He serves on the board for the Early Learning Coalition of Duval and the board for Wolfson Children’s Hospital. He has served various office levels for the Northeast Florida Pediatric Society including president from 2011 to 2013.

  • Marsha Donaldson

    Marsha Donaldson

    Ms. Donaldson is the Vice President for Baptist Primary Care, Inc, a 180+ physician member group of Baptist Health. As Vice President of the group, Donaldson works closely with Baptist Health executive and physician leadership in overseeing the operational and strategic planning for the 65 physician practices and implementing key health system strategies.

    Kyle Etzkorn, MD

    Dr. Etzkorn is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Borland-Groover Clinic, and is Chairman of the Department of Gastroenterology at Baptist Medical Center. 

    Dr. Etzkorn earned his medical degree from University of Missouri, and completed his residency at University of Illinois Hospital. He went on to complete his fellowship training in gastroenterology hepatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center/MD Anderson Cancer Center, and hepato-biliary medicine at University of Illinois Hospital.

  • Edward Gorak, DO

    Edward Gorak

    Dr. Edward Gorak is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the founding Head of the Division of Cancer Medicine and Physician in-Chief at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. His national committee appointments include National Heart Lung and Blood Institute’s National Myelodysplastic Syndrome Natural History Study Steering Committee.

    Catherine Graham

    Catherine Graham is Senior Vice President of Clinical Service Lines and Ambulatory Business Development for Baptist Health. Graham has executive responsibility for providing strategic direction for clinical service line growth, expanding and enhancing the ambulatory network, and overseeing the growing portfolio of ambulatory sites, programs and partners across the region, including CareSpot, Telescope Health, and others.

    Cam Greene, MD

    Dr. Greene is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist and President of North Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women's Care Florida.

    Dr. Greene earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and completed his OBGYN residency at the University of Florida Shands Jacksonville.

  • Timothy Groover, MD

    Senior Vice President and System Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Groover is the Senior Vice President and System Chief Medical Officer of Baptist Health.  He is a board-certified anesthesiologist with US Anesthesia Partners - North Florida. Dr. Groover earned his medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

    In addition to his medical training, Dr. Groover holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He is a Certified Physician Executive and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

  • Mark LaBorde

    Mark LaBorde, CEBS

    Mark LaBorde, CEBS is a former Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Sales, Product and Marketing at Aetna Inc.  Mark retired from Aetna in May 2017 after 30 years of service. Aetna is one of the nation’s leading diversified health care benefits company, serving an estimated 44 million people with information and resources to help make better informed decisions about their health care.

    Michael Mayo, DHA, FACHE

    Michael A. Mayo, DHA, FACHE, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Health. Mayo has more than 32 years of health executive experience, including his most recent role as Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville hospital president.

    As CEO, he oversees five hospitals: Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center South, Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center Nassau and Wolfson Children's Hospital, along with four satellite Emergency Centers, 55 primary care offices, more than 13,000 team members and 1,762 physicians.

  • Matthew Rill, MD

    Matthew Rill, MD

    Dr. Rill is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and current Chief of Staff of Baptist Hospital Jacksonville, privileged to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Emergency Resources Group (ERG) and Telescope Health. As CEO of ERG and Telescope Health, Matt is responsible for all facets of the organizations’ clinical sites and ventures.

  • Craig Shapiro, MD

    Craig Shapiro

    Dr. Shapiro is a board-certified nephrologist in private practice with Nephrology Associates of NE FL. He serves currently as the Vice Chairman of medicine and Physician Quality Champion at Baptist Medical Center. 

    Dr. Shapiro earned his medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, and completed his residency and fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Beth Israel Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center campuses respectively. He also recently earned his MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.

  • Keith Tickell

    Keith Tickell

    Keith A. Tickell is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Baptist Health. He brings extensive prior experience in finance, including serving as the Chief Financial Officer in four companies.

    In his dual role, Tickell not only leads all aspects of finance including financial planning, financial reporting, financial oversight of tax and treasury functions, but also shaping the strategies and environments for Baptist Health’s future growth throughout the region.

  • Matt Zuino

    Matthew A. Zuino

    Mr. Zuino is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Baptist Health. With 20 years of Physician and Hospital Operations experience, he provides strategic and operational support around the system, to include primary care, specialty clinics, Clinical integration network, and Baptist Physician Partners.

    As a six sigma black belt, Mr. Zuino holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Widener University and his Masters of Science from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
